IzanagiGames raised 429.8 million yen in funding via Bilibili, a Chinese company and digital publisher, the companies announced this morning.
The news that IzanagiGames raised 429.8 million yen in funding via Bilibili brings their total external funding to a whopping 798.6 million yen, with the new funding coming via Bilibili subsidiary HODE HK Limited, COLOPL NEXT No.4 Fund Investment Partnership, and Akatsuki Inc.
The major shareholders for the company after this third-party allotment are Shinsuke Umeda, COLOPL NEXT No.4 Fund Investment Partnership, Makers Fund, NetEase, BiliBili Group, and Akatsuki Inc.
The new business partnership was made in the hope of further boosting their worldwide publishing efforts, with a focus naturally on mainland China and Asia – the developer also wants to produce more new, original IPs.
