We just might have our first confirmation that a sequel to Jojo’s Bizarre Adventure: All Star Battle will be happening, with Play-Asia posting a listing for the as yet unannounced game. However, the store also claims that it will have stock in March 2015, which seems very soon, and there are no scans from Asian gaming magazines that confirm anything of the sort, so don’t get too excited just yet. Then again, the listing has been up for a day now, which is a long time for a mistake to be up …
The first game had balance and gameplay issues, which Namco Bandai addressed with two updates, so they should have learned from their missteps and be able to make a better showing this time around. The original had 500 000 pre-orders, and even made it to the West in April 2014, so there’s certainly a market for it.
If you’re wondering what we thought of the first JoJo’s Bizarre Adventure: All Star Battle, here’s the review. What I want to know is whether the sequel will have another hilariously Exquisite Edition.
Thanks to Shonen Gamez for the original scoop.
