Rune Factory 4 is the last game of the now shuttered Neverland Co., a studio that handled the entirety of the Rune Factory spinoff games that paralleled Marvelous’ other series, Harvest Moon.
Due to a multitude of reasons (but probably due to the closing of Neverland Co.), the game was only localized in North America, so our European fans were left out in the cold.
However, now we’ve caught wind (via NeoGAF) of the game being rated on the Germany USK board, meaning the game is probably going to get an official localization in continental Europe.
While there is no official confirmation from Marvelous/XSEED for the localization, rest assured we’ll hear something soon. We’ve reached out to XSEED Games to comment.
