The third season of Isekai Quartet has been confirmed to be in production.

The anime series launched in 2019, and originally featured the characters from four prominent isekai series- KonoSuba, Overlord, Re:Zero − Starting Life in Another World, and The Saga of Tanya the Evil.

All of them were thrust into yet another world, forced partake in a school life, getting up to all sorts of mischief in a chibi form. The second series also introduced characters from The Rising of the Shield Hero, and Cautious Hero: The Hero Is Overpowered but Overly Cautious.

Isekai means “different world” or “another world.” It usually features a character being forced into a fantasy world. They also usually gain incredible powers, though this common trope is not strictly a requirement.

Now, the official Twitter account for the anime has announced a third season is in production, as well as stating more news would come soon.

While not confirmed, it is likely Director Minoru Ashina will return, along with Studio Puyukai animating. We will keep you informed as we learn more.
