• Isekai Quartet Second Season Confirmed, Adds Shield Hero Characters

    Kadokawa’s official YouTube channel has released a teaser for the second season of Isekai Quartet.

    Animated by Studio Puyukai, the first season saw characters from four isekai shows (Overlord, Konosuba, Re:Zero, and The Saga of Tanya the Evil) drawn into yet another world, forced to live out school life.

    The show’s second season, will now add a fifth group of characters. Naofumi, Raphtalia, and Filo from Shield Hero are slated to be added to the “quartet”.


    Isekai Quartet’s second season coming January 2020 to Japan. Western licencing has not been announced at this time. The first season was licensed by Crunchyroll and Funimation.
