Isabelle from Animal Crossing is confirmed to be playable in Super Smash Bros. Ultimate.

She’ll be an Echo Fighter for the Villager, but her techniques seem new. Such as using a party popper, fishing rod and pom-poms. Though her ability to bury a rocketing Gyroid into the ground may be her equivalent of planting a tree.
