Is Tree of Savior Online Coming West? Only the Demand of Fans Can Make it Happen!

It’s been awhile since we’ve heard anything about Tree of Savior, the spiritual successor to Ragnarok Online, but it seems like there have been rumblings of something pretty big for the game.

Two things happened recently that have pointed towards the game being officially localized for western audiences. First up, the game’s official blog posted an update where they talked about localizing the game into English, and they even posted an English screenshot, which you can view above.

The second and probably more interesting thing to surface is the fact that IMC Games published a survey to gauge if western fans are interested in the game. The questions asked run from asking if you’ve played a localized game, to why you prefer localized games instead of the original language version, and where you live in the world.

Tree of Savior Online is the brainchild of Hakkyu Kim, the former director of Gravity Corp, the team that is most famous for Ragnarok Online. His goal with Tree of Savior is to craft a true spiritual successor to Ragnarok Online, and it definitely seems to be shaping up to be just that.

In case you missed our original report/preview for the game, you can read that here. The game has 80 different classes planned, and over 200 different boss monsters. The game also drops the targeting system that Ragnarok Online was known for in lieu of a more action RPG style of combat.

We’ll keep you guys posted.
