Phil Fish is known to just bluntly speak his mind on Twitter, which to a lot of people is either a brilliant thing, or a completely offensive thing.

His stirring up of controversy on Twitter led him to essentially quit the games industry and even cancel his upcoming sequel, Fez 2. However, something extremely interesting has happened – Fish has seemingly returned to Twitter, saying that if his account gets verified, he’ll make Fez 2:

“i’ll make fez 2 if i get verified. how about that.”

Now, you can chalk up his tweet and return to Twitter as just a ruse to have a bit of fun at the cost of fans, but it seems like he genuinely is back on Twitter. If you look at his feed, it seems like he is heavily covering and talking about the controversial lockdown of the protests in Ferguson, Missouri.

I know this is just speculation, but maybe he sincerely wants to give the game another chance, and potentially even the public at large. This is considering the fact that the majority of them shit all over him and sent death threats, etc, while most simply said he deserved it – just for having a differing opinion.

Phil, if you really are working on Fez 2, we’d love to eventually play it.
