While Falcom was supposed to show off the Trails in the Flash Sequel and that mystery game they’ve been hyping up this month, so far we’ve only gotten word of the sequel to Trails in the Flash.

Despite this, we did get word of what that mystery game could be, if Falcom president Toshihiro Kondo’s words are anything to go by. Not only did he strongly hint that the new project was Ys related, he showed off some rough artwork for the game.

The game is described as an action RPG, while one of the character descriptions mentions a “peddler returning from Altago”, leading us to believe the game is Ys-related, as Altago is a region in Ys Seven.

Falcom is holding yet another Nico Nico live stream on March 29th, which is also the 2oth anniversary month of The Legend of Heroes II: Prophecy of the Moonlight Witch, a game that debuted on EC PC-9801 in 1994.
