Hidekichi Matsumoto has announced (along with Comic Natalie) there will be an anime adaption of their manga Inu to Neko Docchi mo Katteru to Mainichi Tanoshii (Have Fun Everyday with Both Dogs and Cats).
Along with the announcement, Hidekichi showed a manga panel discussing the animation report and production meeting. However, the actual broadcast and staff details will be released at a later date.
The manga originally debuted in 2017 on the manga app Palcy. It features Matsumoto-san as an owner of a sweet and naive dog, and a more mischievous cat.
The fourth volume shall be released by Kodansha on December 13th, and a humorous encyclopedia of the ecology of cats and dogs based on the manga (Inu to Neko Docchi mo Katteru to Mainichi Tanoshii Encyclopedia) is already in circulation.
We will keep you posted as we learn more.
