Publisher Focus Entertainment and developer New World Interactive announced Insurgency: Sandstorm is now on Xbox Series X|S and PS5.

The new next-gen ports for the popular indie shooter support up to 4K resolution and 60FPS (1080p on Series S), as well as HD textures, shorter load times, and even cross-gen matchmaking.

Insurgency: Sandstorm was originally released for Windows PC (via Steam) back in 2018, with console ports on Xbox One and PS4 later in 2021. Owners of the original console ports get the next-gen native ports for free.
