New information and screenshots (via Inside Games) for Marvelous’ upcoming rhythm and music game, IA/VT Colorful, have followed the reveal of yesterday’s gameplay video.

Early purchases

Early purchases of the game will receive special benefits, including a reversible box sleeve (pictured below); an official compilation EP, IA/03 -VISION-, featuring five tracks from the game; and a gothic costume for the singer (pictured below), available in three colors.

Gameplay

The principle underlying the gameplay is simple, but challenging in practice. Players have to activate eight different kinds of buttons on the screen to the rhythm of the music. As players attack their cues, a gauge will fill during each song. When the song reaches its climax, depending on how well the player did, the color emitted will change.

IA/VT Colorful releases on June 25 in Japan, for the Playstation Vita. The game will initially have over 60 songs to master, and more music will be made available to players in the form of DLC. Excluding tax, the limited edition of the game costs 9,240 yen, and the standard edition of the game 4,800 yen.
