Galactic Annihilation, a new team made up of Total Annihilation and Planetary Annihilation devs, are back to make a new real-time strategy game called Industrial Annihilation – because this time you build factories too.

Industrial Annihilation is in development for Windows PC (via Steam) and the team is seeking funding on Kickstarter to finish development on the game.

The team has some big names attached like Jon Mavor and Steve Thompson, both of whom worked on the original Total Annihilation, as well as John Comes from Command & Conquer: Generals.

Its predecessor Planetary Annihilation was released back in 2015 and remains immensely popular with over 10,000 positive Steam reviews, so it makes sense the Kickstarter is nearing half its funding mere days after launching.
