As many of us are anxiously awaiting the re-release of the original set of Pokemon games, Nintendo has decided to stoke the fire a bit with an awesome little trailer showing some gameplay from the games, hearkening back to the good ol’ days on the Gameboy.

The trailer shows glimpses from the game, covering everything from the beginnings at Pallet Town and a few bits of the journey around to the other towns and cities in the game. There’s also a short look at Pokemon Yellow, showing Pikachu following the player.

Pokemon Red, Blue, and Yellow all release on the 3DS Virtual Console on February 27th and they can all be found on the eShop. Get ready for some major nostalgia! And for those of you picking up one of the games, which version are you looking at?
