Indivisible Adds New Game+ and Couch Co-Op April 2

Indivisible

505 Games and developer Lab Zero Games have announced an upcoming update to Indivisible, adding New Game+ and Couch Co-Op.

As detailed on the game’s official website, the update is free. New Game+ allows completed save files to bring over all acquired abilities, weapons, incarnations, and companions into a new adventure.

Enemies will also be made tougher, along with “a number of twists along the way to keep you on your toes.” Main character Ajna has a new appearance, based on the events in the game’s finale.

Those who complete New Game+ can hear a new track by composer Hiroki Kikuta in the credits. This will be one of the tracks from the upcoming OST PLUS album “that will include demos, outtakes, alternate versions, and ‘inspired by’ tracks from the Indivisible soundtrack.” This soundtrack launches April 21st.

The Couch Co-Op allows up to four local players to work together, and jump in at any time outside of combat.

“Your friends will be able to run alongside Ajna (always Player 1) and use basic jumps to keep up while exploring. Additional players don’t have Ajna’s leaping and axe hang skills, but that’s okay. When they fall behind, they’ll be able to instantly teleport to Ajna’s position.

Once a fight starts, each player is in control of their incarnation and all of their attacks! There’s no fun like beating up on a Pindayar with your besties!”

The update launches April 2nd.

You can find the full rundown on the game (via Steam) below.

Indivisible is an action RPG platformer featuring stunning hand drawn art and animation combined with unique real-time combat mechanics.

Immerse yourself in a fantastical world with dozens of playable characters, a rich storytelling experience, gameplay that’s easy to learn but difficult to master, and the trademark razor-sharp quality that Lab Zero Games is known for!

Our story revolves around Ajna, a fearless girl with a rebellious streak. Raised by her father on the outskirts of their rural town, her life is thrown into chaos when her home is attacked, and a mysterious power awakens within her.

The game’s huge fantasy world, characters and aesthetic design are inspired by various cultures and mythologies. Throughout Ajna’s quest she’ll encounter many “Incarnations”: people whom she can absorb and manifest to fight alongside her.

There are many Incarnations to recruit, each with their own story and personality. By uniting people from faraway lands, Ajna will learn about herself, the world she inhabits, and most importantly, how to save it.

Indivisible is available on Windows PC, Mac, Linux (all via GOG, and Steam) PlayStation 4, Xbox One, and coming soon to Nintendo Switch.
