Indie JRPG The Sacred Tears is Now in English via Steam

It’s not often that you hear about an indie RPG that is inspired by the classic Japanese RPGs of old that is actually made by Japanese developers.

Thanks to Nyu Media, we’ve gotten the doujin (indie) JRPG The Sacred Tears TRUE on Steam, and this is the first time ever the game’s been available in English. Featured above, you can view some battle gameplay from the title, and you’ll notice that it’s not the usual sort of JRPG combat.

Sacred Tears TRUE melds conventional JRPG battling with a card battling system, and it even has a completely intuitive skill point system. Outside of the hybrid combat, the majority of the game is your good ol’ Japanese storytelling RPG.

The Sacred Tears TRUE is available on Steam for $9.99 dollars.

:O Reminds me sorta of the old Tales games crossed with those battle card games, like that one Megaman Battle Network one with Ring and the rest.

I’ll skip it, for some reason I can’t picture playing JRPG’s anywhere other than a handheld these days.
