Indie Japanese Horror Game NightCry PC Release Set for March 29, New Trailer

Playism and developer Nude Maker have announced the PC release date for their upcoming horror title, NightCry.

The hotly anticipated followup from the creator of the Clock Tower series, Hifumi Kono, will launch on March 29th. To celebrate the release date, a new trailer for the eerie game can be found above.

NightCry is coming in four different versions:

    A digital copy of NightCry for the PC
  • $39.99 Digital Soundtrack Pack
    A digital copy of NightCry for the PC & a digital copy of the NightCrysoundtrack
  • $49.99 Digital Deluxe Pack
    A digital copy of NightCry for the PC, the soundtrack, and the digital art book!
  • $59.99 Digital Complete Pack
    A digital copy of NightCry for the PC, the soundtrack, the art book, and a PDF of Takashi Shimizu’s storyboards for the live action trailer

The game will be available via both on Steam and from the PLAYISM website.

    I honestly love how crappy it looks, it reminds me of them Japanese horror games in the ’90s/early’00s like Kenji Eno’s D series and Michigan: Report from Hell etc.

    Something about it just screams ‘survival horror’ to me.
