Publisher Electronic Arts and developer Ascendant Studios shared the launch trailer for Immortals of Aveum, featuring a new single from rapper Jufu.

The launch trailer features Brooklyn-based Jufu’s new single “All Time Great”, and features footage of the game’s protagonist, Jak, and his fellow immortals.

“’All Time Great’ echoes Jak’s journey into summoning and controlling his power,” Jufu said. “I’m so excited to be partnering with EA and Ascendant Studios to release my new single alongside the launch trailer for Immortals of Aveum.”

Ascendant Studios CEO and game director Bret Robbins added, “At its core, Immortals of Aveum is about a hero’s journey, as Jak grows into and learns to utilize his unique abilities. Jufu’s on a similar journey and his music really resonated with us as an expression of Jak’s personality and swagger. Additionally, with our soundtrack featuring several different genres of music from hip-hop, orchestral, electronic, chill, ambient, and industrial, partnering with Jufu to bring his unique sound to the launch trailer was a no-brainer. We’re thrilled to have partnered with Julian in a way that’s authentic to him and our game.”

Immortals of Aveum is a single-player first person magic shooter that tells the story of Jak as he joins an elite order of battlemages to save a world on the edge of abyss.

With legions of soldiers on both sides of the Everwar, he must uncover the mysteries of Aveum’s troubled past, if there’s any hope for saving its future.

Master three forces of magic and unleash spells with deadly skill in a game that defies FPS conventions.

Immortals of Aveum is developed by Ascendant Studios, an independent AAA team led by Bret Robbins, creative director of Dead Space and Call of Duty, and published by EA Originals.

Immortals of Aveum is set to launch on August 22nd. When the game releases it’ll be on Windows PC (Steam, the Epic Games Store, and the EA App), Xbox Series X|S, and PlayStation 5.
