ICYMI: September 2022 Community Day Pokemon Is Underway

In case you missed it, the September 2022 Pokemon Go Community day is now underway. The September 2022 Community Day Pokemon is Roggenrola. That’s right, Roggenrola will spawn in abundance today, September 18th, from 2:00 PM to 5:00 PM local time. In fact, the Pokemon Go Community Day is just one of the ways I will spend celebrating my birthday. So why is Roggenrola community day so special? Roggenrola’s final evolution can look three different ways. So what else does the September 2022 Community Day offer for Pokemon GO players? Let’s dive into what’s available for most trainers.

September 2022 Community Day Details

  • Roggenrola will appear more frequently in the wild.
  • Shiny Roggenrola will appear more frequently in the wild.
  • Evolving Boldore during the event or up to five hours afterwards grants a Gigalith that knows the Charged Attack Meteor Beam.
  • 1/4 Hatch Distance when Eggs are placed into Incubators during the event period.
  • 2× chance for Trainers level 31 and up to receive Candy XL from catching Pokémon.
  • 2× Candy for catching Pokémon.
  • Lure Modules activated during the event will last for three hours.
  • Incense activated during the event will last for three hours.
  • Take a few snapshots during Community Day for a surprise!
  • One additional Special Trade can be made for a maximum of two for the day.
  • Trades made will require 50% less Stardust.
  • From 5:00 p.m. to 10:00 p.m. local time, Trainers will be able to battle 4-star Raids.
  • If the 4-Star is defeated, more Roggenrola will appear around the defeated Gym for 30 minutes.

Below will be the Rock ‘n’ roll Research task details from Niantic’s site.

  • For US$1.00 (or the equivalent pricing tier in your local currency), you’ll be able to access the Roggenrola Community Day–exclusive Special Research story, Rock ‘n’ Roll.
  • Rock ‘n’ Roll Step 1/4 Tasks Rewards

    • Power up Pokemon 10 times = 15 Pokeball
    • Catch 15 Roggenrola = Rogennrola
    • Make 5 Nice Throws = 29 Roggenrola Candy
      • RewardS = 2000 Stardust, Roggenrola, and Star Piece
  • Rock ‘n’ Roll Step 2/4 Tasks Rewards

    • Catch 15 Roggenrola = 30 Roggenrola Candy
    • Transfer 10 Pokemon = Boldore
    • Evolve 3 Roggenrola = 10 Pinap Berry
      • Rewards = 1500 XP, Roggenrola, and Star Piece
  • Rock ‘n’ Roll Step 3/4 Tasks Rewards

    • Make 3 Great Curveball Throws = 50 Roggenrola Candy
    • Evolve 1 Boldore =1 Lucky Egg
    • Transfer 10 Pkemon = 15 Great Ball
      • Completion Rewards = 2500 XP, Rocket Radar, and 15 Ultra Ball
  • Rock ‘n’ Roll Step 4/4 Tasks Rewards

    • Claim Rewards = 2 Silver Pinap Berry
    • Claim Reward = Roggenrola
    • Claim Reward = 3500 XP
      • Completion Rewards = 3000 Stardust, Gigalith, and 3 Rare Candy
