I Have No Idea What’s Going with Omori, but I Want It Desperately

A fan tipped us off to this extremely colorful and yet completely psychotic game – Omori, the self described “surreal, exploration, horror RPG.”

This game is the passion project of the small indie team at Omocat (I see a pattern here), who are building the game within RPGmaker. Omocat is for all intents and purposes, comprised of one sole female developer who goes by the same name of Omocat, and she is handling the bulk of the project behind Omori.

The game is promised to have at least eight fully realized dungeons, over 60 totally unique NPCs to meet and get to know better, and two big worlds to explore. The real question of the game is which world is real, and what memories are real? You can explore the memories of the eponymous Omori, and you can even uncover some truth behind his very existence.

If Omori sounds anything like a story you’d want to experience, you should head on over to their Kickstarter and consider backing, as the game is already funded.
