The Playstation 4-exclusive Hyperdimension Neptunia Victory II will launch next month in Japan. Ahead of its April 23 release, Compile Heart are finally beginning to delve into the details of the roleplaying game. The last time we got anything like this was in January, when the combat system was explained some. Now the returning Scout System has been detailed. And, of course, there are new images from the game.

Let’s get to it.
Scout System
With the Scout System, players will pay special NPCs to scout out dungeons, collecting information, credits, and items from the location.
Each scout NPC has unique stats attached to it, and some scouts even have special scouting abilities, which place a “Scout Effect” on dungeons they visit that alter the dungeon in some way.
Each dungeon, too, is different, and each one will have a different scouting time attached to it. When Scouts are sent, a countdown clock begins. Once the scouting time is completed, the NPCs will return to players and inform them about the dungeon, after which the scout automatically returns to the dungeon, unless the player manually gives a different command.
