Previously, Idea Factory rated Hyperdimension Neptunia Re;Birth for PC. Now, thanks to the latest issue of Dengeki Playstation, we’ve learned the company is really bringing the game to the platform.
Idea Factory president Yoshiteru Sato confirmed the news:
“We have already made the decision to release the Neptunia series onto PC, in English, via Steam next year.”
Idea Factory business development manager Damien Urvois elaborated on how western demand for these kinds of games is increasing, and that Fairy Fencer F is coming over as well:
“The demand for moé is quite large overseas these days, so we have to rapidly bring the main titles over,” Urvois said. “We’re also looking to bring Fairy Fencer F to Steam next year.”
Sato waxed over when talking about his dream to expand the company into mobile games overseas, and that Idea Factory is looking to release games in continental China, as well as south-east Asia.
Finally, Urvois teased that if their smartphone expansion goes well, they might look into releasing the Hakuoki smartphone game in English.
