Heart Machine has since concluded their kickstarter for Hyper Light Drifter, their supremely awesome looking throwback to old school action RPGs.
Whereas a lot of kickstarters that are early in development wait months to show off progression in development, Heart Machine has just revealed some pre-alpha combat gameplay.
You can check out the gameplay demonstration below:
“This is a pre-alpha basic demonstration,” is mentioned as a disclaimer in the video. “Leveling has been left out, and the weapon set is very limited. We want to highlight a few key things for everyone, like the shield push, missile deflect/cut, and enemy management.”
Hyper Light Drifter is scheduled for release in June of 2014.
