Hyakka Yakou is an otome visual novel inspired by Japanese mythology, in which players play as a courtesan in the red light district of a fantastical settlement.
From the (loosely) translated official blurb for the game:
This is a tale about putting “freedom” on the line with the person you love, a tale of elopement.
There is a village of perpetual night in which humans and ayakashi [monsters] intersect. In that village exists a decadent red light district, Takamagahara.
Florid lanterns that brilliantly shine, glamorous kimono and longings, which intertwine—everything there is dreams that are reality.
A girl is destined to live and work in this dream-like street.
The distant radiance emitted by the world she desires outside of this small district is much too brilliant. When she reaches a hand out toward this world she so loves and desires, what awaits her?
To yearn for and to be yearned for. As she begins to take the hand of the one she loves, the gears of fate grind.
Sever the chains, cross over the fence and come now, towards the night of a hundred flowers.
The visual novel features choices and branching story paths. Once players finish the story, they’ll be able to jump around to whichever point they wish in the game, in order to go back to experience scenarios and collect CGs they may have previously missed.

Hyakka Yakou has a release date of February 12 in Japan, and is exclusive to the Playstation Vita and Playstation TV.
