Hunt: Showdown releases new Devil’s Moon update

Hunt: Showdown

Crytek announced Hunt: Showdown‘s Devil’s Moon update is here, with new guns and pacts for players to pledge themselves to.

Devil’s Moon is the third part of Hunt: Showdown‘s Moon trilogy of updates, coming after Traitor’s Moon and Serpent’s Moon. The Devil’s Moon update allows players to choose between multiple pacts.

These include: the grounded pact, which allows players to resurrect after being downed, or the infernal pact, which lets players regenerate chunks of their health by killing enemies, with the downside of constantly taking damage and being on fire.

Each of the pacts come with their own hunters and perks, allowing players to choose which power will benefit them more. The Devil’s Moon event will also feature a battle pass, which promises legendary rewards for players:

Devil’s Moon also comes with a new weapon, multiple weapon variants and custom ammo, allowing for even further customization of the hunter’s arsenals.

Hunt: Showdown‘s developers released a deep dive on the mechanics of the new update:

The new update is sure to shake up Hunt: Showdown‘s matches with its new pact system, making matches feel completely different from each other.

Devil’s Moon is set to run from December 14th, 2022, to February 15th, 2022.

Hunt: Showdown has been available on PlayStation 5, PlayStation 4, Xbox One, Xbox Series X and Series S and Microsoft Windows (Through Steam).
