This one almost escaped us – the original Hotline Miami is making it’s way to the Playstation 4, making it the third and final Playstation platform that the game has appeared on. The news was confirmed at the annual Game Developer’s Conference via Destructoid.
The original Hotline Miami was developed by Swedish developer Dennaton Games, and published by Devolver Digital on PC, via Steam. The Playstation 4 version will be cross-buy compatible with the Playstation Vita, as Devolver is hoping to capitalize on users on both platforms.
Lastly, Dennaton Games are hard at work finishing up the sequel to Hotline Miami, Wrong Number, which is set for release sometime in Q3 of this year. The equally violent sequel is promised to have an “escalating level of violence” that takes place after the events of the original game.
