Horror platformer Love Eternal launches in February

Love Eternal

Publisher Ysbryd Games and developer brlka announced a release date for Love Eternal, their new horror platformer.

Love Eternal is set to launch across Windows PC (via Steam), Xbox Series X|S, Nintendo Switch, PS4, and PS5 on February 19th.

“We wanted to explore the subtler aspects of psychological horror with LOVE ETERNAL, and tried to imbue every scene and environment with a sense of unease that was unmistakable, but impossible to put your finger on,” said brlka designer Toby Alden in a press release. “Everyone who’s tried the game so far has felt it, and we’re really excited for players to experience how uniquely unnerving it is.”

Here’s a rundown on the previously announced game, plus a new trailer:

Run, jump, and reverse the flow of gravity itself to escape the mind of a selfish god in this challenging precision platformer. Play as Maya, a child stolen from her family on the whim of a lonely, forsaken deity, and make your way through over 100 screens filled with spikes, lasers, switches, and traps as you unravel the horrifying secret of your new prison.

Will you find your way home, or wander these halls carved of memory forever?
