Back in August, Supermassive Games announced that their horror movie simulator, Until Dawn, would be coming to the Playstation 4 instead of, as they’d originally planned, the Playstation 3.
Their latest update, revealed at the Playstation Experience, and finally uploaded online in full, shows almost eight minutes of game footage. You can watch it above.
In Until Dawn, eight friends retire to a remote mountain getaway. They come to realize they aren’t alone, and soon they’re trying to survive the intruder. Throughout the game, players assume the role of the various friends; the decisions they make and their reactions to in-game events as the characters will affect the course of the story.
Horror movie aficionados are probably looking forward to this. I know I am.
And yes, that is the digital version of a Hayden Panettiere, running around in a towel held aloft by the power of pixels.
A release date for Until Dawn has not been announced yet.
