• Homeworld 20th Anniversary Announcement Set for PAX West 2019

    Blackbird Interactive has confirmed they’ll have a special announcement for the Homeworld franchise next week.

    The “very special announcement” was teased in the above video, which the studio is saying will happen during the Gearbox Main Theater Show at PAX West 2019 on August 30th. The announcement will be in celebration of the series 20th anniversary.

    Blackbird Interactive is the studio behind the Homeworld prequel, Homeworld: Deserts of Kharak, which the studio had been working on as a spiritual successor to the series.

    The Gearbox Main Theater Show at PAX West 2019 will be livestreamed via Twitch on August 30th at 1:30 PM Pacific / 4:30 PM Eastern.
