An eagle-eyed fan has noticed a cameo of Hololive’s Usada Pekora in the latest episode of How Not to Summon a Demon Lord Omega.

A user on the r/Hololive subreddit was among the first to notice the background character that bears a striking resemblance to the virtual idol. While it’s easy to dismiss these kinds of appearances as a reach, some key details heavily imply this is an intentional appearance.

The background character features Pekora’s signature twin braids and carrot hair accessories. But more than that, the position of them basically seals the deal with the carrot on her left placed noticeably higher than the one on her right.

The character makes her appearance for only a second or two as the Diablo and his harem pass through the streets of the Zircon Tower city.

Pekora is a member of Hololive’s third generation titled “Hololive Fantasy”. Meanwhile How Not to Summon a Demon Lord Omega is the second season of the 2018 anime based off the 2014 light novel.

The series follows a young man who’s summoned to another world as his player character Diablo. However unknown to the two girls summoning him, he has a ring of magic reflection which turns the summoning pact back on the two girls, making them his slaves.
