Nanashi Mumei, a member of the second generation of Hololive English has released her first original song called A New Start.

Mumei is a member of Holo Council, HoloEN’s second generation after Holo Myth premiered in 2020. Each character in Holo Council is a divine being representing a metaphysical concept such as Time, Nature, Chaos, etc. Nanashi Mumei is the council member representing Civilization.

The song A New Start leans into Mumei’s character as the representative of Civilization. The song’s lyrics (partly written by Holo Myth’s Calliope Mori) feature themes of exploration and taming the unknown. Meanwhile the music video pans over 3D rendered images of ancient civilizations and sculptures.
