While the language is harsh, the feelings between Cover Corp and Yozora Mel appear to be mutual, with the statement clarifying that the decision to part ways was made “with agreement from the talent”. This line was initially missing from the English announcement.

Yozora Mel has been a part of Hololive from very early on and has been part of the company for over five years, making her one of the longest standing members to leave the company.
