Hololive 6th gen member Laplus Darkness (La+ Darkness) is taking an indefinite hiatus to take care of her mental health. The hiatus has been approved by hololive’s company Cover Corp and comes shortly after Laplus celebrated her one year anniversary as part of hololive.

Since he has been suffering from mental illness for some time, we have decided to take a break from activities for the time being and focus on recuperation after discussing with him and making management decisions.

We apologize for any concern and inconvenience, but we would appreciate it if you could watch over us warmly until we return.

It’s unknown when Laplus will be back, but both Laplus herself and Cover expressed their desire for her to come back as soon as she is able. Laplus tweeted that she wants to come back quickly and do many of the fun and interesting things she’s promised to her fans.
