Microsoft have just announced that the HoloLens Development Kit Edition is now available for pre-order to developers who have applied for it.
Documentation for the HoloLens has already been released, and can be viewed for additional guides and detailed tutorials.
Additional software like Visual Studio projects and a HoloLens emulator will be released as soon as the HoloLens’ begin to ship out.
The HoloLens emulator will be used to help developers test holographic apps on their PC without the need of a HoloLens, and will come with a development kit.
The HoloLens Development Kit Edition will begin shipping on March 30th, 2016.
