The official Science Adventure Twitter account has announced a “Hollywood live-action” Steins;Gate TV series, as part of the celebrations for the visual novel’s 10th anniversary.

Science Adventure are a series of visual novels developed and published by 5pb., Nitroplus, and Chiyomaru Studio- including Chaos;Heads, Robotics;Notes, Occultic;Nine, and Steins;Gate. The original Steins;Gate launched in 2009, leading to numerous other games, manga, and anime.

Details are scant at this time, but the official website does state it will be distributed worldwide, and produced by “Skydance Television” (by Google Translate), most likely Skydance Media (Terminator: Dark Fate, Gemini Man, Mission: Impossible – Fallout, Star Trek Beyond).

Skydance Media are also behind the upcoming live-action Sword Art Online series [1, 2], however we have heard no news on it since 2018.
