Hollow Knight: Silksong

Indie developer Team Cherry announced Hollow Knight: Silksong has topped 7 million copies sold already, a new milestone after roughly only 3 months.

To celebrate they’ve revealed a new and free expansion for the game dubbed “Sea of Sorrow.” While the expac is now in development, a release date wasn’t announced.

“New areas, bosses, tools, and more!,” Team Cherry teased in the new announcement. “Hornet’s adventures continue in our nautically themed expansion, coming free for all players next year. We’ll keep further details a secret for now, but expect additional info shortly before Hollow Knight: Silksong – Sea of Sorrow releases.”

Hollow Knight: Silksong has been available across Windows PC (via SteamGOG, and the Humble Store), Xbox One, Xbox Series X|S, Switch 2, PS4, and PS5. Get our review here!
