Hollow Knight: Silksong listed on Xbox store

Hollow-Knight-Silksong

This isn’t an April Fool’s joke this time. Hollow Knight: Silksong has a page on the Xbox store, though it’s too early to celebrate just yet.

The page was first noticed (ironically) on April 1 by fans and even they were incredulous, assuming it was just another joke.

Hollow Knight: Silksong is the long awaited sequel to the 2017 game Hollow Knight. Since it was announced 5 years ago, the date for Silksong has been repeatedly pushed back and was most recently expected to release last year. With any luck we won’t have to wait as long as we did for Skull & Bones.

The Xbox store page for the game is largely a placeholder at the moment, with the game’s file size being listed as “0 B”. More details are likely to come as we approach the release of the game (whenever that may be).

In Silksong, players take on the role of Hornet, the princess of Hallownest who appeared in the original Hollow Knight. Players can expect over a hundred new enemies, a completely new story, and an update to the combat that they’ve come to expect from the previous game.

You can check out the store page here.

Hollow Knight: Silksong is expected to release sometime (hopefully this year) on PC, PS4, PS5, Nintendo Switch, Xbox One, and Xbox Series.
