• Hollow Knight coming to Switch 2 alongside update for current platforms

    Indie developer Team Cherry has announced Hollow Knight is getting a native Switch 2 Edition alongside an update for current platforms.

    The new Hollow Knight Nintendo Switch 2 Edition is coming sometime in 2026 alongside the aforementioned update, which brings “all the updates and enhancements that Silksong received on the platform”, including: high frame-rate modes, higher resolutions, and many additional graphical effects.

    To prepare for the new Switch 2 version, the team is releasing the update for all versions of the original game with various features and bug fixes. You can find the entire list here.

    Hollow Knight has been available for Windows PC (via Steam and GOG), Xbox One, PlayStation 4, and Switch.
