Hitman Studio IO Interactive Working on New IP Built in Unreal Engine

We’ve learned (via NeoGAF) that Hitman studio IO Interactive is working on a brand new IP using Unreal Engine.

The news comes via a new job listing on their official website, for a new gameplay programmer.

The listing mentions the staffer will “work closely with a small team of designers to prototype gameplay mechanics in Unreal Engine,” and they must possess “solid experience with AI, physics, animation and game mechanics for AAA games and experience from projects on current gen consoles and PC,” and “possess profound skills in C++ and have experience with Unreal Engine.”

The latest game from IO Interactive was the Hitman reboot, released via episodes throughout last year. It recently got a retail package in the form of Hitman: The Complete First Season.
