Next week, at this year’s Japan Expo, the famed creator of Final Fantasy will be attending and revealing his next big project. The convention runs from July 2nd to the 6th.

Although he has been primarily involved with smartphone games, his last true RPG was The Last Story, a collaborative effort between Mistwalker and Nintendo.

Lastly, Sakaguchi is going to have a signing session at the 2014 Japan Expo so make sure to bring all of your Final Fantasy VII memorabilia and such.
