This week’s Famitsu has revealed that Higurashi When They Cry is heading to PlayStation 3 and PlayStation Vita.

The new version is being dubbed Higurashi When They Cry Sui, and publisher Kaga Create is handling the port. The sound-based visual novel originally launched on PC back in 2002, and since then has seen a release across PlayStation 2, DS, iOS, and Android.

The PS3 and PS Vita ports, poised as the “complete” versions of the game, come with all of the original scenarios, as well as full voice overs, a skip function, three new songs, a game adaptation of the non-playable “Hajisarashi Chapter,” and—last but not least—swimsuit CG depictions of each character.

Higurashi When They Cry Sui is going to launch on March 12th in Japan.
