Developer Squanch Games announced a delay for the Switch 2 port of High on Life 2.
Their sci-fi comedy shooter is coming to Switch 2 a bit later – forgoing its April release for one this summer, on July 1st.
High on Life 2 was just released for PC (via Steam, the Microsoft Store, and the Epic Games Store), Xbox Series X|S, and PS5 in February.
Here’s the full word from the team on the delay:
Greetings players! As the Squanch Games team continues to champion delivering the highest quality experiences, we have elected to (slightly) delay the release of High On Life 2 for Nintendo Switch 2. The additional elbow grease towards production will ultimately allow the studio to better meet not only our high standards for gaming, but yours as well.
That being said, High On Life 2’s debut on the console will shift from April 20th to July 1st of 2026.
Any digital preorders already placed will be canceled. Physical preorders will remain in place, with shipment expected in July.
We appreciate your patience and continued support! Further updates to follow.
