With Dynasty Warriors: Eiketsuden launching this week in Japan, Koei Tecmo has decided to share the game’s opening cinematic on their official YouTube channel to generate some buzz for the game.

In typical Dynasty Warriors opening fashion, the movie shows plenty of the characters we know and love trouncing around the battlefield, including Liu Bei, his sworn brothers, and Lu Bu. The cinematic also clearly shows tiles and a grid, evoking the feel of a strategy game, which certainly feels right for Eiketsuden.

Dynasty Warriors: Eiketsuden launches in Japan this week, on August 3rd, for PS4, PS3, and Vita.
