Here’s the First Look at Risen 3: Titan Lords Enhanced Edition

Deep Silver has shared with us the first look at the enhanced edition of Risen 3: Titan Lords, on Playstation 4.

Featured above, you can view the debut gameplay for the enhanced game on Playstation 4. This is direct-feed gameplay, and is compared to running the game on “ultra” settings, for you PC master race folk out there.

The enhanced edition on Playstation 4 reportedly surpasses the PC original, graphically, in some areas. There are higher resolution textures “across the board,” a new post-processing feature in bokeh depth of field, HDR bloom effect, a volumetric cloud system, among others.

Risen 3: Titan Lords Enhanced Edition is launching for Playstation 4 (digital only) August 21st, for $39.99.

Should have worked more on the PS3/XB360 version in the first place. Loved it the first time around but it’s not a game I can play through more then once.

I wonder who handled the HD port?

Europe is getting a retail version as well though I expect it’s more popular in Europe then the US anyway.

I don’t know, as much as I love Risen 1, I think Risen 3 is better. It’s much longer, doesn’t de-evolve into a mindless hack-n-slash fest at the end and while the last boss is just as dumb, at least you don’t have to jump through hoops to beat him.

Eh, I found the writing stuff (as meh as it was in Risen 1) took a dive. But I was just exaggerating.
