EastAsiaSoft has finally given us a look at Rainbow Skies, their upcoming strategy RPG for both Playstation 3 and Playstation Vita.

Featured above, you can view the pretty robust trailer, which shows off the diverse cast of characters, the locales and environments you can adventure through, and of course – all of the monsters.

Rainbow Skies improves upon everything that made Rainbow Moon a solid strategy RPG (you can read our review for that here), and sees a trio of protagonists Damion, Layne, and Ashly, in what is poised as an “indirect sequel.”

The characters will run into unforeseen scenarios as they get caught up in a battle between two deadly and rivaling superpowers. There will be new gameplay elements like monster taming, combining skill attacks, and others.

Rainbow Skies is coming to both Playstation 3 and Playstation Vita exclusively sometime next year. Also, don’t forget that Rainbow Moon is currently free on Playstation Plus – make sure to grab it!
