IGN has posted seven minutes of Alien: Isolation, the new first person survival horror game set in the Alien series pioneered by Ridley Scott with the original film back in the ’70s.

There’s one thing I wanted to point out about this gameplay – it’s pre-recorded footage sent to IGN by Creative Assembly, so the two guys from IGN are merely providing commentary for the gameplay.
The game is in development for both current generation and next-generation platforms, as well as PC, and it’s being handled by the talented folk at Creative Assembly, who are now part of SEGA. The team’s main goal with Alien: Isolation is to recapture the feeling the original movie had, that feeling of helplessness – getting back to a true survival horror experience.
