Square Enix has released the direct feed gameplay from the Paris Games Week showcasing of Final Fantasy XV.
Featured below, you can find the gameplay walkthrough of the world and the core group of friends—although it’s mostly just Noctis running around and his friends getting stuck behind trees. The second video is the tech demo featuring the physics and bleeding-edge details that are part of the game.

It’s clear that Square Enix is trying to focus on how open the world of Final Fantasy XV is, as opposed to the mostly lambasted linear experience provided in Final Fantasy XIII.
Final Fantasy XV is currently 55% done, according to director Hajime Tabata. The game is designed to play and feel like a road trip in which Prince Noctis and his friends are on a journey together, like something you’d see out of a road movie.
A demo for the game, dubbed “Episode Duscae”, is coming in March of next year, but only if you pick up Final Fantasy Type-0 HD.
