Developer Sunblink announced Hello Kitty Island Adventure has topped 1 million copies sold.

The new milestone for the meme-turned-real-game was reached within a year of its PC and console release in January 2025.

Hello Kitty Island Adventure was originally released exclusively on Apple Arcade back in July 2023, for Windows PC (via Steam) and Switch in January 2025, followed by PS5 in August and Switch 2 in November. A PS4 port was planned, but it may have been canceled.
