Developer Sunblink has announced another physical release for Hello Kitty Island Adventure due to popular demand.
Hello Kitty Island Adventure is getting a new physical release on both Switch and now PS5 as well, in both a Standard Edition (out August 29th for $39.99) and a Gift Box Edition (out November 7th for $59.99).
The game’s previously announced PlayStation 4 and PlayStation 5 ports are likely set to launch the same day as the Standard Edition, as they were previously set for a general 2025 release.
Here’s a rundown on both releases:
Standard Edition
The physical Standard Edition for PlayStation 5 and Nintendo Switch will launch on August 29, 2025, for $39.99 / £34.99 / €39.99 at local retailers. Hello Kitty Island Adventure Standard Edition is available to pre-order now.
Gift Box Edition
Launching on November 7, 2025 for Nintendo Switch, the Hello Kitty Island Adventure Gift Box Edition contains the physical Deluxe Edition (includes the base game plus over 300 unique items and rewards, including Deluxe Starter and Crafting Bundles), a printed Critter and Fish guide, a set of exclusive collectable cards, Tophat’s™ Memories, and a premium double-sided poster, all packed into a specially designed Collector’s Box. The Gift Box is now available for pre-order for $59.99 / €59.99 / £52.99.
The adventure game was released exclusively on Apple Arcade back in July 2023, for Windows PC (via Steam) and Nintendo Switch on January 30th, with ports for PS4 and PS5 will come sometime later.
