Hell Let Loose Heads to PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X|S October 5

Hell Let Loose

Team17 have announced PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X|S release date of tactical multiplayer WWII FPS, Hell Let Loose.

Hell Let Loose is available on Windows PC (via Steam), and October 5th on PlayStation 5, and Xbox Series X|S.

As previously reported; the Early Access tactical shooter emphasizes teamwork and coordination on evolving battlefields that support upwards of 100 players. Everyone will need to work together to secure valuable objectives and resources that can be used to call in supplies and support.

As stated in the press release (via email) the game will feature cross-play between PlayStation and Xbox consoles. Pre-orders for Xbox Series X|S will open today at 10:00 a.m. PDT (1:00 p.m. EDT, 6 p.m. BST, and 7:00 p.m. CST). Those who do will receive The Silver Vanguard cosmetic DLC.

For PlayStation 5, players will be invited to an open beta; running September 16th to 20th. The beta will see the Warfare mode on the Hurtgen Forest map. Both teams will occupy half the map, and will need to push forward to secure territory. They must then choose to hold the line until time runs out, or push all the way to the enemy base.

On launch, the game will also have Offensive mode, where teams be divided by attackers and defenders. Additional maps will also be added, set across the Western Front (including Utah, Omaha, and Carentan). Maps from the Eastern Front (such as Stalingrad and Kursk) and the Soviets, while currently on PC, will come to consoles via a free post-launch update this winter.
